Michael is a Colander Associate. We are privileged to be able to draw on his expertise in developing financial systems that sit comfortably with architectural practices working at both in the UK and overseas.


An expert in his field, Michael was the Financial Director at Grimshaw for 17 years, helping to steer the practice through a period of growth from 50 staff in London to a firm of over 320 staff with thriving offices in London, New York, Sydney, Melbourne and Doha.

During this time, he took a leading role in re-organising the business systems and corporate structure of Grimshaw, putting in place and maintaining effective yet flexible financial systems.

Michael joined the Colander team in 2014 to help Colander’s clients with financial management. He is running both Business Seminars and training courses for us; and helping practices undertake business reviews.
