Colander in Australia

Caroline Cole is delivering the keynote speech at Architeam's conference in Melbourne, Australia....

Small Practice in Community is a one day conference bringing together eminent professionals from Australia and internationally to discuss 'small practice architecture' and how the sharing of resources with like-minded colleagues inspires new ideas. The event designed by ArchiTeam will encourage debate about the changes occurring in the way we live and work in the 21st century with an increased move to rural areas and the creation of 'new communities'. The conference will consider how the role and skills of the Architect benefits the community and how architects can contribute to their immediate surroundings and wider community.

Caroline Cole, Founder and Director of Colander is a keynote speaker and will be discussing her business development work with architects and how practices can maintain a profitable balance between creative excellence and business acumen whilst establishing strong client relationships.

ArchiTeam Cooperative is a membership association for Australian architects working in small, medium and emerging practices.

This one day conference is taking place on the 26th August at the Melbourne Museum in Melbourne, Australia. For further information see: http://conference.architeam.net.au/
