Take a look at our Spring public training courses, that focus on all the things architects don't learn at uni....
We are offering four public courses this Spring, focused on building relationships, new business and being efficient. We take a maximum of 12 people on each course to ensure that there is good interaction and time for conversation so everyone can explore the subject and make it their own. So, if you are interested in attending, please book early to secure your place - that way, you also receive an Early Bird discount.
Wednesday 06 March 14.00 to 17.30 - half day session
This ever popular course has been through many iterations over the years, as procurements processes have become ever more onerous. In these highly competitive times, it is not surprising that it continues to draw an enthusiastic audience. We address the tick boxes of public sector procurement but also consider the more interesting question of how to engage a client and tell a compelling story.
Course Director: Caroline Cole
NETWORKING AND RELATIONSHIP BUILDING
Wednesday 13 March 14.00 to 17.30 - half day session
The majority of new business opportunities these days come through personal relationships and yet, most of us approach networking with a mixture of dread and tongue-tied shyness. This course is designed to give delegates practical tools with which to confront their fears and distrust of networking and help them go on to build strong and constructive professional relationships.
Course Director: Daphne Thissen
MARKETING AND NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Tuesday 19 March 10.00 to 17.00 - full day session
This course considers ways to make marketing both effective and enjoyable, exploring different marketing techniques that allow professional people to engage with their clients as equals rather than simply as salesmen. It looks at the dynamics between clients and those that aspire to work with them and considers the tools that might help architects win their dream jobs from their dream clients.
